Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Polaris Ecommerce ("Polaris", "we", "us") operates polarisecommerce.com from Pushpa Nagar Main Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai, India. For any privacy request, email founder@polarisecommerce.com.

2. What we collect

• Form data you submit — name, work email, phone, company, monthly ad budget, revenue, and the message or vision you share with us.
• Booking metadata — date and time you pick on our Calendly widget, time zone, and any answers you give Calendly.
• Technical data — IP address, user agent, page URL, and referrer, captured when you submit a form so we can prevent abuse and respond to your enquiry.
• Analytics & advertising signals — only after you grant Marketing consent, we load Google Ads (AW-18265430748) to measure conversions. Until then, Google Consent Mode v2 is set to denied and no measurement cookies are written.
• Strictly necessary storage — we save your consent choice in your browser so we do not ask again.

3. Why we use it

• Reply to your enquiry and schedule a strategy call.
• Send you the call confirmation and any follow-up you've asked for.
• Measure how marketing is performing (only with Marketing consent).
• Protect the site from spam and abuse.

4. Legal basis (GDPR Article 6)

• Consent — for analytics and advertising cookies and tags.
• Pre-contract / legitimate interest — for handling and replying to enquiries you actively send us.
• Legal obligation — when required to retain records for tax, fraud or compliance reasons.

5. Who we share data with

We only share what is needed to deliver the service you asked for:

• Lovable Cloud — hosting and managed database for our site and your lead record.
• Calendly — when you book a call, your name, email and answers are passed to Calendly so it can confirm the meeting. See Calendly's privacy notice.
• Google — Google Ads conversion measurement, only after Marketing consent.

We do not sell your personal data.

6. How long we keep it

Leads are kept for 12 months after our last contact with you, then deleted or anonymised. If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will do so within 30 days unless we are legally required to keep it.

7. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Confirm what data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Withdraw consent (this won't affect anything we did before you withdrew).

Email founder@polarisecommerce.com and we'll respond within 30 days. EU/UK users may also complain to their local data protection authority. California residents have equivalent rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" — which we do not do.

8. Cookies & tracking technologies

We use as few cookies as possible:

• Strictly necessary — store your consent choice (polaris.consent.v1) so we don't ask again. Always on; you cannot opt out without losing site functionality.
• Analytics — off by default. Counts aggregated visits.
• Marketing — off by default. Google Ads tag AW-18265430748 measures conversions.

You can change your choices at any time: Open privacy settings.

9. International transfers

Our processors (Lovable Cloud, Calendly, Google) may store data outside India, the EU/UK or your country of residence. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level access controls. Only authorised Polaris team members with an admin role can view lead data. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your data has been compromised, email us immediately.

11. Changes to this policy

When we make a meaningful change we'll update the version number above and ask you to re-confirm your consent choices.
